Dengue and other mosquito-borne viral diseases are expanding globally, with Florida experiencing a resurgence of dengue transmission not seen in decades. At the Silva HostArVec Lab, we investigate the complex interactions among mosquitoes, viruses, and humans to better understand transmission risk and develop more precise strategies to prevent mosquito-borne diseases.
